Aly joined the Auburn family in January of 2021 after receiving a Ph.D. in Geosciences from Virginia Tech. She also holds an M.S. in Geology from Miami University.

As a Technology Transfer Officer in the Physical Sciences, she is responsible for identifying and assessing new technology commercialization opportunities for Auburn developed technology. Aly works with faculty and students to encourage protection of intellectual property and advance innovations out of the laboratory and into the commercial market.
